Denver Transportation Club to host “Operation Stimulus”

29th annual event explores Supply Chain Innovation

DENVER- The Denver Transportation Club will host the 29th annual Operation Stimulus Transportation Forum on January 28-30, 2010, in Denver, Colorado.

The event, “Supply Chain Innovation, the Competition is Improving, Shouldn’t You?” is the premier transportation conference in the Rocky Mountain Region. The conference, in its 29th year, draws representatives from transportation, government, and academia to discuss vital issues and current topics that affect the freight transportation sector.

Operation Stimulus raises money to fund scholarships for students in transportation, logistics, and supply chain management programs. Since 1980, the Operation Stimulus programs have raised nearly $354,000 for the club’s scholarship program.

The three-day event will be held at the Denver Renaissance Hotel at 3801 Quebec Street in Denver. Events begin on Thursday, January 28, with a student case study competition, trade show and silent auction. Friday is dedicated to panel discussions, workshops, networking, and an awards luncheon with keynote speaker. On Saturday, attendees may take a charter coach bus to Breckenridge, CO for a day of fun in a great Colorado ski town.
